It's densely populated; it's obsessed with language. It is a classic author of SF that deserves more attention than it has, his themes are focused on the human being and not in the technology. I've flipped through this fan-service guide a few times and I find something new to look at each time I do. Though I skimmed the charts of his/her money negotiations, and a couple of the newspaper articles used for background, I enjoyed the back and forth communications of the main characters. Books that have to do with the civil war have been one of my favorites to read.
